By accessing our website (www.online-printbuddy.com), placing an order, or using our services, you (“you,” “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before engaging with our platform. We reserve the right to update these terms periodically; changes will be posted on this page with the “Last Updated” date revised. Your continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
1. Eligibility to Use Our Services
To use Online-PrintBuddy’s services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old (or have the consent of a parent/guardian if you are a minor);
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information (e.g., delivery address, contact details) when placing orders or creating an account;
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract (e.g., not under a legal disability that prevents you from agreeing to these terms).
2. Order Placement & Confirmation
2.1 How Orders Work
When you place an order on our website:
- You select your print product (e.g., business cards, flyers), specify details (size, material, quantity, design upload), and provide delivery/payment information.
- You will receive an order acknowledgment email immediately after submission—this confirms we have received your request, not that the order is final.
- We will review your order (e.g., check design file compatibility, verify payment) and send a final order confirmation email within 24 hours (business days). This email includes your order number, details, and estimated delivery date. The contract between you and Online-PrintBuddy is formed only when we send this final confirmation.
2.2 Design Requirements & Responsibility
- You are responsible for ensuring your uploaded design files meet our specifications (e.g., file format: PDF, JPEG; resolution: 300 DPI; bleed margins: 0.125 inches). We provide a “Design Guidelines” page on our website—please review it before uploading files.
- We are not liable for printing errors caused by: (a) low-resolution or corrupted design files; (b) missing bleed margins; (c) incorrect color modes (e.g., RGB instead of CMYK). If we notice potential issues with your file, we will contact you to resolve them, which may delay your order.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the following secure payment options for orders in Nigeria:
- Bank transfers (details provided at checkout for manual transfers);
3.2 Payment Completion & Order Processing
- Full payment must be received before we begin printing your order. If payment is not confirmed within 48 hours of order placement, your order will be canceled automatically.
- For bank transfers or mobile money: Please include your order number in the payment reference to ensure we match your payment to your order. Failure to do so may cause delays.
- We do not charge hidden fees—all costs (printing, delivery, taxes) are clearly displayed at checkout before you confirm payment.
4. Delivery & Risk
4.1 Delivery Obligations
We will deliver your printed products to the address you provide at checkout, in accordance with our “Delivery Information” policy (available on our website). Delivery times are estimates and may be delayed due to factors beyond our control (e.g., public holidays, weather, logistics disruptions). We will notify you of significant delays via email or SMS.
4.2 Risk Transfer
Risk of damage to or loss of your products passes to you when the delivery agent confirms receipt of the order at your address (e.g., via your signature or digital confirmation). If you are not available to receive the order, the delivery agent may leave it at a secure location (with your prior consent) or attempt delivery again the next business day.
4.3 Failed Deliveries
If a delivery fails due to: (a) an incorrect or incomplete address provided by you; (b) repeated unavailability at the delivery address; (c) refusal to accept the order—we will contact you to arrange re-delivery. A re-delivery fee (equal to the original delivery cost) will apply, and you must pay this fee before we re-send your order. If re-delivery is not requested within 7 days, your order will be returned to our facility and may be disposed of after 30 days.
5. Returns, Refunds & Replacements
5.1 Eligibility for Returns/Refunds
We stand behind the quality of our printing. You may request a return, refund, or replacement only if:
- The product has a manufacturing defect (e.g., smudged ink, misaligned printing, damaged materials) that is not caused by your design or delivery mishandling;
- We delivered the wrong product (e.g., incorrect size, quantity, or design) due to our error.
5.2 How to Request a Return/Refund
To submit a claim:
- Contact our customer support team within 48 hours of receiving your order (via phone or email, with your order number and clear photos/videos of the issue).
- We will review your claim within 3 business days. If approved:
- Replacement: We will reprint and deliver the correct product at no extra cost;
- Refund: We will issue a full refund to your original payment method within 5–7 business days (processing times may vary by payment provider).
5.3 Non-Eligible Claims
We cannot accept returns or issue refunds for:
- Products that match your approved design and order specifications (even if you change your mind);
- Damage caused by improper handling after delivery (e.g., bending, tearing);
- Orders delayed due to your failure to provide correct design files or payment.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Your Design Files
You warrant that you own the intellectual property rights (e.g., copyright) to any design files you upload, or that you have obtained written permission from the copyright owner to use the files for printing. You agree to indemnify us against any legal claims, damages, or costs arising from a breach of this warranty (e.g., a copyright infringement lawsuit filed by a third party).
6.2 Our Intellectual Property
All content on Online-PrintBuddy.com (e.g., website design, logos, product descriptions, “PrintBuddy” trademark) is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use this content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law:
- We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., lost profits, business disruption, missed opportunities) arising from your use of our services, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages;
- Our total liability for any claim related to your order (e.g., defects, delays, non-delivery) will not exceed the total amount you paid for that order;
- We will not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (“force majeure”), including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, or internet outages.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately if:
- You breach these Terms & Conditions (e.g., providing false information, infringing intellectual property, non-payment);
- We suspect fraudulent activity related to your account or order;
- We are required to do so by law (e.g., a court order).
If your access is terminated, any pending orders will be canceled (and a refund issued for payments already made, minus costs we have already incurred, such as printing materials).
9. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from or related to your use of our services (e.g., order issues, refunds, liability) will first be resolved through good-faith negotiation between you and our customer support team. If negotiation fails, the dispute will be referred to arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, under the rules of the Nigerian Institute of Arbitrators (NIA), with the arbitration award being final and binding on both parties.
